The Springboks last minute victory

On the 21st
of October 2023, at 21:00 South African time the Springboks played against England,
On the semi-finals of the Rugby world Cup match. The game took place in Paris.
South Africa scored sixteen and England Scored 15. 
Just a point from each other.
The match started of a rough patch for the Springboks, before the second half,
the Boks with a zero-score vs a score of 6. This match seemed like a challenge
judging by the score on the first part of the match.

Zikhali commented, “We look very unsettled in many aspects and there is just
panicking and no more leadership. The next 40 minutes will be different.”
The Springboks came in
full force for the second round of the match. Jacques Neinaber, the Springbok
coach, commended the teams fighting spirit. Now all roads lead to next Saturday
where they will play against The All Blacks, New Zealand to defend their world champion’s
title.
Students from the
Tshwane University of Technology also celebrated the victory from the Boks.

Handre Pollard and RG
Snyman were the heroes as people referred in the socials. RG scored a try
towards the end of the match, subsequently Pollard added a penalty goal just 2
minutes before the game ended. Pollard then earned the title of ‘player of the
match.’
The president of the
Republic of South Africa expressed his congratulations to the winning team on
twitter, “Congratulations to our heroic Springboks on a hard-won Rugby World
Cup Final 2023 semi-final at Stade de France, Paris. Now our nation can focus our
hearts and flags on our second successive Rugby World Cup Final in as many
tournaments. We are indeed stronger- and victorious-together.”
